Good Shepherd School is a multi-campus institution committed to excellence in education. To streamline operations, the school adopted SAFSIMS, the school management software. We spoke with Mrs. Idowu Dorcas, the school’s administrator, to understand their experience with SAFSIMS and its impact on their academic and financial processes.

The Challenge

Managing school operations efficiently is a challenge for many educational institutions. Before implementing SAFSIMS, Good Shepherd School relied on traditional methods for administrative tasks. Report card preparation took approximately five days, and financial transactions were prone to inefficiencies. 

“Before SAFSIMS, preparing report cards took about five days, but now it takes only a day and a half,” Mrs. Idowu stated. The inefficiencies affected communication with parents, financial record-keeping, and academic tracking.

The Implementation of SAFSIMS

The school was introduced to SAFSIMS through a recommendation. One key deciding factor was the comprehensive academic and finance modules, along with its affordability. According to Mrs. Idowu, the platform “was broad enough to accommodate our needs, and the price was friendly.”

“We initiated the projects and assignments column, and it has been greatly appreciated,” Mrs. Idowu noted.
